The Youth Red Cross Wing of BMS College of Commerce and Management, Bengaluru, actively contributed to the development of socially responsible, compassionate and service-oriented students during the academic year 2025–2026. The unit focused on promoting humanitarian values, health awareness, community service, emergency preparedness and social responsibility among students.
Through various awareness programmes, health initiatives, community-service activities and outreach programmes, students were encouraged to understand the importance of serving society and extending support to people in need. The activities provided students with opportunities to develop empathy, teamwork, leadership and a strong sense of civic responsibility.
The primary purpose of the Red Cross Unit is to promote humanitarian values and encourage students to participate in activities that contribute to the health, safety and well-being of individuals and communities. The unit seeks to develop responsible young citizens who are committed to service, compassion, cooperation and social welfare.
