PLACEMENT PROCESS:
To facilitate campus placements, the Corporate Communication Department establishes contact with companies to understand their requirements. Initially, the company's HR team conducts a survey to assess potential and determine the common pool center for campus recruitment.
Once the decision to hire is made, companies request resumes from eligible final-year students based on their specific criteria. After reviewing the profiles, a mutually agreed-upon date is finalized for campus recruitment, which takes place at one of the consortium colleges in consultation with all stakeholders.
Campus recruitment follows a structured sequence adopted by most companies, which includes the following stages:
- Pre-Placement Talk: An introductory session where companies provide insights into their organization, roles offered, and expectations.
- Written Test/Aptitude Test: A preliminary evaluation to assess candidates' technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and aptitude.
- Group Discussion: An interactive session to evaluate communication skills, teamwork, and critical thinking.
- Interview – Technical and HR: A comprehensive assessment through technical and human resources interviews to gauge subject knowledge, technical skills, and cultural fit.
